The text presents and analyzes works by the Spanish artist Abel Azcona, in dialogue with those of Pêdra Costa and other Brazilian artists, to reflect on the relationship between life and work, art and politics. In doing so, it is possible to understand how the artists question the idea that these productions could be explained as a symptom of narcissism in contemporary art.
