This article addresses the debate on childbirth humanization through the narratives of the prenatal experiences of three women who are part of an online group that supports natural childbirth. Starting from a brief history of the struggles for the humanization of childbirth in Brazil, we suggest that those connections provide elements for understanding the current scenario of attention to pregnancy in the public and private sectors, in addition to operating as ways of organizing the experience of gestating and giving birth. Finally, this group is seen as a focus of online activism through the promotion of female autonomy and the dissemination of knowledge supported by the practices of evidence-based medicine.
